For attendees traveling from outside of Canada, the following information will help you plan your trip to Toronto, ON this May.
Letter of Invitation
All international attendees requiring a letter of invitation may e-mail a request to Member Services at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow two to three (2-3) business days to be issued the letter of invitation.
Requests should include:
- Name of the individual requesting the letter
- Country or location of the visa interview
- Name and date of the event the visa is requested for
Please note that all letters of invitation will be emailed to attendees. Letters will not be issued to the embassy or consulate where the interview will take place.
As a reminder, the US Department of State and Homeland Security’s announcement of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative states that all US citizens, Canadians, citizens of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda and citizens of Mexico must obtain a passport or another accepted secure document to enter or re-enter the United States.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
Canada’s new entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travelers with a valid visa. Eligible travelers can apply online for an eTA. Travelers will need an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada.
